Thanks! I missed those three discrete attempts until you pointed them out.
I also see that the very first attempt was using "Port 465" - which is the SSL port? Which would mean that the remote server does not have it??
I guess I can relax a bit. The only mystery I have left is one mail server I cannot connect to. I think it is having trouble validating my DNS - and I would love to know why! I did change over to my own DNS server which needed a change in IP address. Surely though, the rest of the planet should have caught up by now? Its been two weeks....
